Slow Ride: Camp Das Vertentes Brazil
Kick back and take a coffee break with Slow Ride, our newest single origin from Brazil. Don’t let this light roast fool you. The deep, rich profile of sugar and spice paired with tangy stone fruit will cradle you in its languorous wake. Indulgent notes of cinnamon and molasses make Slow Ride a comforting daily drinker while dark cherry zest adds layers of interest. Showcase this single origin’s merit on espresso or in a pour-over. It continues to shine even with a simple drip brewer! That’s the testament to the skill that went into Slow Ride.
Grown on Fazenda Samambaia just north of the city of Santo Antônio do Amparo, owner Henrique Dias Cambraia is the latest descendant of his family to hold the farm’s reins. Since his father’s death in 1994, he’s gone on to invest high-quality varietals on not just his own farm, but on others in the region as well culminating the foundation of the Sancoffee Cooperative. Decades of work and dedication have made his fazenda a veritable institution.
The Campo Das Verternes region in which Slow Ride grew is located on the edge of the magnificently biodiverse Atlantic Forest, rivaling the richness of the Amazon with over 20,000 plant species. This unique biome paired with the expertise of Henrique’s heritage yields truly remarkable coffees. So, take it easy with Slow Ride and stock up now because you’ll miss it when it’s gone.
